The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is a network member of the Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN), who are hosting the Johannesburg Summit 2023.

Recognised as a key contributor to the climate-tech start-up ecosystem and to the advancement of climate migration-based technologies in South Africa and Africa, the CSIR is extending the invitation to the upcoming Johannesburg summit, under the theme: Deep Tech & Hardware, Enterprises and Climate Tech, summit will be held on 29 March 2023 till 30 March 2023 in Johannesburg.

AfricArena will be hosting the Johannesburg Summit. More than 20 startups from across Africa will take center stage to showcase their highly scalable ventures to an audience of local and international investors. This two-day Summit event will follow the same format as their predecessors from previous years with an AfricArise Bootcamp bringing startups a powerful readiness and networking tool as they make their way up the summit.
