Full Profile
Machio holds a PhD in metallurgy and material engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand. He joined the CSIR as senior researcher in the field of titanium powder metallurgy in 2008. He has authored/co-authored numerous research papers, and received several grants for research proposals. He is an associate member of the Corrosion Institute of Southern Africa and the South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
