The electronic warfare technology demonstrator research group develops technology components for technology demonstrators in support of specialised tests and evaluations. An example of such a technology demonstrator is the Digital Radio Frequency Module that was developed at the CSIR. Over two decades, the product has evolved into a fifth-generation product and is utilised in the testing and evaluation of radar and other electronic warfare equipment.

The group works closely with the electronic warfare test and evaluation systems, and digital electronic warfare research groups to realise test and evaluation, and training systems.
