The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) held a workshop on 30 June 2022, at CSIR ICC. The beneficiary rural wireless operators (SMMEs) are expected to grow and flourish as sustainable digital businesses that create job opportunities while providing the much-needed affordable broadband connectivity in rural and township communities where they operate. The Stakeholder Workshop is one of the deliverables of the FCDO funded “Accelerated Technical Support, Monitoring and Evaluation for Rural Television White Spaces (TVWS) Network Operators” project.
