Dr Jeremy Gibberd
Gibberd leads a number of projects on education architecture and sustainable built environments.

Gibberd is a professional architect (PrArch) and chief researcher. He trained at the University of Botswana, the University College London and the University of Pretoria. At the CSIR, he has led a number of projects on education architecture and sustainable built environments. These include school design projects and guidance for South Africa, Zambia and Kenya; greening the 2010 World Cup Stadia and large public-private partnership projects for government. He works on sustainable city projects with the United Nations Environmental Programme, the Global Environmental Facility and the City of Johannesburg. Gibberd is the Strategic Infrastructure Project Coordinator for Higher Education Infrastructure (SIP14) for the Presidential Infrastructure Coordinating Committee.
