Meyer’s research interests include digital forensics, mobile device security and cyber security.

Meyer holds a PhD degree in computer science from the University of Pretoria, with a focus on identifying the authenticity of smartphone data. She joined the CSIR in 2012 on a studentship and has grown into the role of a senior cybersecurity researcher and software developer. She has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed paper, as well as contributed to several internal software development projects.
