Veerasamy’s research interests lie in information security, with a special focus on cyber security awareness training and cyber terrorism.
Full Profile
Veerasamy holds a Phd degree in Computer Science from the University of Johannesburg. She joined the CSIR in 2005 and plays a leading role in the research of cyber security, assessing security from a technical perspective and developing policy recommendations on information security governance topics. She has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed papers, most recently on the dangers of juice jacking on mobile devices.
