Muronga’s current research interests lies in the use of technological advancement and information systems to improve the availability, reliability and viability of passenger transport activities in Southern Africa.
Pitso’s research interests lie in asphalt pavement innovation and sustainable concrete technology.
Mokoena’s research interest lies in sustainable road infrastructure in climate adaption.
Risenga Chauke’s research interests focus on passenger transport, transport planning, transport economics, transport safety and railway engineering. Chauke is also interested in understanding travel behaviour using stated preference techniques, which was the subject of his Master’s degree dissertation and was named the Best Paper by a Young Professional at the Southern African Transport Conference 1999.
