Members of the media are invited to a media briefing to unpack 5th generation (5G) technology standards and opportunities for industrialisation, as well as growing concerns raised by social media regarding 5G and human health. The virtual media briefing is scheduled to take place on Monday, 8 February 2021.
The CSIR assisted six Traditional Health Practitioners (THPs) in developing safe and standardised traditional medicines for commercialisation in a project funded by the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI).
It is our view that there is ‘a false sense of online privacy’ when users opt-in to provide their personal information in order to use free online services, which indicates a lack of online privacy understanding and awareness. As the common saying goes, "If you're not paying for something, you're not the customer; you're the product being sold".
The objective of this invitation process is to collect information to enable the CSIR to evaluate and identify suitably experienced, highly qualified, and a financially sustainable supplier within the manufacturing industry or related sector with a commitment to continue with the production of these products on terms and conditions acceptable to the CSIR.
