Linda Malinga
Malinga’s research interests and expertise include defence telecommunication systems modelling, simulation and development; integrated capability management; and systems engineering with a focus on next-generation communication systems.

Malinga holds an MEng degree in Technology and Innovation Management from the University of Pretoria. He joined the CSIR in 2008 and has played roles in mathematical and computational modelling and simulation to support acquisition decisions for the South African National Defence Force (SANDF). He has also contributed to interoperability capability development for the various arms of the SANDF. He has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed papers and book chapters in various fields, including systems modelling and simulation, crowd control modelling, information and communications technology in society and broadband networks.
