Emerging Researchers Symposium

The Emerging Researchers Symposium was initiated to showcase the work done by emerging researchers at the CSIR, who include candidate researchers, researchers, individuals on the postgraduate bursary programme (CSIR bursary students, Department of Science and Innovation Inter-Bursary Support Programme and Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services Sector Education and Training Authority bursary students), students in the studentship programme, as well as postdoctoral programme candidates.

The two-day event is a continuation of the CSIR’s Youth Month celebrations and is used as a curtain raiser for the 8th CSIR Biennial Conference. Emerging researchers from the CSIR and our strategic stakeholders will present and discuss topics in their areas of expertise.
